Terra Natura Wildlife Park

If you’re looking to take a walk on the wild side during your holiday at La Manga Club, the Terra Natura Wildlife Park in Murcia is an experience that’s not to be missed. Once inside, you’ll be able to get up close to a staggering number of animals – over 300 from over 50 different species (including three that are sadly close to extinction). The park itself is helpfully split into two different themed areas – the Iberian Peninsula and the African Savannah. Check out elegant giraffes and fiercesome lions in the African Savannah, and marvel at the majesty of eagles and the size of big brown bears in the Iberian Peninsula section. With educational boards dotted around the park you’ll be able to find out interesting facts you never knew, and really get to know the inhabitants.

Aside from all those exotic animals, you can also enjoy over 500 examples of flora and fauna – including native ground cover plants, trees, and shrubs. And that’s not all this great, family-friendly park has to offer – with entertainment, activities, and even night time safaris all on offer, you can easily wile away a whole day here.

Lastly, with onsite restaurants and cafes, and a bar beside the sea lions, you can enjoy everything from breakfast to late-evening drinks all just a few metres from wildlife you’d never normally have so close to you.
